SUBURBAN URGENCY

Have I mentioned how excited I am for NaNoWriMo? Well, I'm sure I have...but still, I REALLY AM! I found this picture on youtube for the book cover. I kept the girl who took the picture's name on it, because I've got to give her credit for the photo and title. I love this.

Personal Statement

So, I'm here at Caribou Coffee, trying my hardest to finish it. I have one page done but I just cannot push through. It's ridiculous! I just don't get the purpose. Like it'd be cool if they asked me to send something creative. I could write five thousand words about someone else in two days. THiS iS JUST TOO HARD!

So, I'm thinking of starting a new story but I think it would be pretty time investing. Here's the summary, I'm not sure on the title yet though.

NEW UNTITLED FAERIE STORY: BLAiREWYN, a gancanagh faerie who now keeps his name shortened to Blaire, after whitnessing the buriel of one girl his addictive nature killed is sickened. He's sure he hasn't caused that much pain in the numerous human pets he's kept and thrown away. ACACiA's learned to hate men from her gaurdian and aunt. She's known for her detached nature and stream of one night stands with boys who've wanted more. His search for the friends and family he left ravaged after their loved ones' deaths led him to Acacia and the life he's ruined for her. She's know's he's something "other", disappearing from her line of sight between blinks. But all her mind can conjure up it to STAY AWAY. And it's a good thing too because Blair's facinated, intoxicated by her presence almost as much as she'd be in his.

I'm not exactly sure when I'll start this story, because it will take a lot of research on lore that I didn't do for Livid shadows. But I'm very into this story line.

And then next month is National Novel Writing Month and I shall definitely be participating. It's a month long period where you write a fifty thousand word novel. Synopsis: Suburban Emergency

AiNSLEY Hunter McDaniels is dissatisfied with her life. Of course she'd never reverse her decision to get back what she sacrificed. With no parents or any other family in the picture she was forced to take custody of her younger brothers after her grandmother's death. Now she should be at Cornell, majoring in Psychology, but instead she's stuck in a small town taking care of a pair of seven year olds and working at the local bookstore. Just across the street is where she met him, buying a tub of Ben & Jerry's. That first night with LOGAN Connors, she hated him. He would have made Ainsley never give him a second look again if he hadn't started showing everywhere she went and even winning over the two people she cares about most in the world.

I'm beyond stoked to write this story. I can't wait for November 1st! 22 days left!
